Historic Vineyard
in Arcos de Valdevez
Beside the historic Torre de Grade, the silent guardian of a medieval past, a new life now flourishes: a vineyard that restores to the land the brilliance of former times.
Built in the 15th century, the tower that once watched over the valley of Arcos de Valdevez now witnesses the rebirth of a cultivation that once again clothes its estate in green.
Spanning one and a half hectares, this vineyard, managed under integrated production methods, is home to the Loureiro and Arinto grape varieties, planted in rows where granite and sunlight combine to create wines of fresh and elegant character.
Each vine is tended with the same precision and respect for time with which, centuries ago, the stones of the tower were raised.
This is Vinha da Torre: a symbol of a new era that does not break with the past, but draws inspiration from it, creating a living dialogue between historic heritage and the vitality of nature reborn with every harvest.
